Meetings/Terms/Duties

The City of Statesville Tree Commission
meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month
at 12:00 noon
in the Council Conference Room
on the second floor of City Hall.

All meetings are open to the public.

Nine members, who are residents of the city's planning and zoing jurisdiction
are appointed by city council.

Among the recommended duties, as outlined in Section 24.5 of the city ordinances,
is the charge to foster communications among the citizens of Statesville
that will provide the needed protection of trees within the city.
