Tree Service Notice Door TagWant to know when utility line clearance crews will be pruning in your neighborhood? Check out our COMMUNITY TREE NEWS page for the latest City of Statesville Utility Line Tree Pruning Schedule!

If you find this tag on your door knob ... it means that city tree crews (or subcontractors hired by the City of Statesville) will soon be pruning trees in your area.

Directional Tree PruningLine clearance tree pruning - or in some cases, tree removal - may be necessary to ensure a continued reliable and safe supply of electricity for Statesville Electric customers.

Information on the card outlines the "directional" or "lateral" pruning method used, which is approved by the US Forest Service, the International Society of Arboriculture, the National Arbor Day Foundation ... and the Statesville Tree Commission.

If you have questions about tree maintenance in your area, contact Shawn Cox - Utility Line Clearance Supervisor (704-832-3827).
